Everton have left Le Coq Sportif and signed a new kit sponsorship
deal with Nike that will see them join Aston Villa, Arsenal and
Manchester United in the list of Premier League clubs to be outfitted by
the US major. The deal that begins in the 2012-2013 season is for a
period of three years but is reportedly not going to provide too much of
a difference in terms of revenue to the current Le Coq Sportif Deal for
the Toffees. The Nike deal is reportedly worth £10m over three years.
The new kit sponsorship deal represents Nike’s first foray into Merseyside.
