Let Sing the Songs

"Fields Of Anfield Road"

Outside the Shankly Gates
I heard a Kopite calling :
Shankly they have taken you away
But you left a great eleven
Before you went to heaven
Now it's glory round the Fields of Anfield Road.

All round the Fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and he could play)
We had Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
Of the glory round the Fields of Anfield Road

Outside the Paisley Gates
I heard a Kopite calling
Paisley they have taken you away..
You led the great 11
Back in Rome in 77
And the redmen they are still playing the same way

All round the Fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and he could play)
We had Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
Of the glory round the Fields of Anfield Road

We've Won It Five Times

We won it at Wem-ber-ly
We' won it in Gay Paris
In 77 and '84 it was Rome

We've won it five times
We've won it five ti-i-imes
In Istanbul, we won it five times

When Emlyn lifted it high
He lit up the Roman sky
Thommo in Paris and Souness did it as well

We've won it five times
We've won it 5 ti-i-imes
In Istanbul, we won it five times

At Wembley we won it at home
Took 26,000 to Rome
20,000 to Paris when we won it again

We've won it five times
We've won it five ti-i-imes
In Istanbul, we won it five times

Stevie G's eyes lit up
As he lifted the European Cup
21 years and now its coming back home

We've won it five times
We've won it five ti-i-imes
In Istanbul, we won it five times

My Frustration

Ketayap(malay dessert)
Why? That is a question that keep coming to my bloody mind regarding MASTERCHEF Malaysia.

Why ASTRO did not cast and get all the most talented CHEF in Malaysia?.

There are soo many out there in Kuala Lumpur, either Malaysian or Foreigner.

Why in the show, there is no Foreigner Chef that is working in Kuala Lumpur being invited?

Are they cannot find them or they really lazy and just contact Malaysia Chef Association! Do they know that most of the talented chef are not a member?

My opinion is, I don't give a DAM! from whom I learn but he or she must be the BEST if you want be the BEST.

Why in the MASTERCLASS, they keep cooking CURRY types of dishes?

Why keep teaching the basis of cooking like in the Culinary Class at 1st Semester to the candidate of MASTERCHEF without showing the new idea in cooking?

With the title of MASTERCHEF, they need new ideas on the new technique and presentation.
These are some of the dishes that are being produced by the Chefs who are working in Kuala Lumpur. By the way, these Pictures are the dishes that are served at their restaurant in Malaysia.

WHY these people are not with MASTERCHEF Malaysia?.

MAS...ter CHEF mal...aysia

The Masterchef Malaysia nearly to the end already as I watched yesterday during my OFF Day. There is a familiar face in the judges line up in yesterday show. Adam Liaw, the winner of Australia Masterchef Season 2.It is a fresh breath of air to the show. The way he conducted himself on the show, he is above the others. He look so relax and full of confident.

He even can gave more good comment compare to our judges. The way he gave a comment on the dish, it is more detail, not just about the taste but he talk about the idea, concept, presentation, technique and some motivation to lift up the moral of the contestant.

The way these "Mat Saleh Australia"  giving the comment on the dishes, they will tackle layer by layer on what the contestants are trying to do. The judges will give a honest comment, positive and constructive as much as possible unless the dish that is presented to them is sooo bad but they still trying to get as much positive out of it.

It is the way that they work and being brought up. If you doing good thing, appraise him or her and if not said it honestly to them and give some solution on the problem. I base it on my own experiences working abroad and married to a foreigner.

If the judging is focus on the taste only, it is very subjective as everybody have a differences on their preference. So they will base it on their preference and do the comparison to compare on what they being served.

One big note that the judges forget, these contestant do not know a fundamental of cooking but they have a passion, taste and will power to to it. There are not many CHEF in the industry have a passion for cooking. They are here for money. Yes, it is true.

Base on couple of shows that I watched, our judges do not seem relax in front the camera and maybe because of  it, it gave an effect on their communicating during the show.

That is just my opinion from my observation and do the comparison on our version and Australia version. If it is not true, ASTRO needs to find a solution on the problem so they can improve and take it to another level. I believed they have the potential to go high as the Australia version but they need to fix little bit there and here namely to cast the contestant that really have passion for cooking, less dramatic person as the show is base on the passion for cooking.

They also need to teach the technique of cooking, highlight the type of food that is served in the 5 star restaurants that not everybody can enjoying it in their Master Class.

Most the judges have that level of creativity especially the particular judge that have claimed worked with Chef Eric & Chef Batali. Chef Eric restaurant is a 3 star Michelin and their cooking and presentation is WOW.

I like to see more person that have passion for cooking in themselves and exceed all the difficulties just to achieved greatness in the industry. The most thing that I don't like is too much crying,  and dramatic. It soo boring. It like watching Malay Drama, soo predictable.

Memories 2011

When LFC Player arrived @ Pavillion KL
Looking back to 2011, my most memorable memories in 2011 is when Liverpool FC coming to Malaysia. That particular weeks in July, everybody were getting crazy with football as Arsenal, Liverpool & Chelsea coming to town. Every 4 to 5 days KL is being painted with football team color. The craziest one between all of them is Liverpool FC. I had been waiting this moment for a very long time and in 2011, my wish was being granted.

Some LFC Fan @ One World Hotel Lobby
I took 5 days on leaves just to follow the LFC activities in Kuala Lumpur.

They arrived very early morning around 5am and I'm there at One World Hotel to greet them at the Hotel Lobby. The atmosphere at the hotel lobby was crazy.

MU Fan Jersey being taken OFF by LFC Fan
Their training at Bukit Jalil National Stadium, is another scenario that I cannot forget as there was an incident of the kicking OFF Man U Fan from the seat. What a bloody DUMB,  DUMB guy to  wear Man U jersey in a sea of Liverpool Fan. I do not know where he put his brain...

Pavillion KL Main Door
Pavillion Shopping Complex in KL were turn in to Anfield Replica with the cooperation with Standard Charted Bank.

Sea of RED
LFC friendly @ Bukit Jalil Stadium
During the frienly game between LFC & Malaysia, you guys can see how many LFC supporters that are in Malaysia. By the way the National Stadium capacity is 100000. The noise before & during the game was non stop. I arrived at the stadium as early 1pm in the afternoon as the game will kick off at 5.45pm and I thought early. When I'm arrived there, it like a fiesta outside the stadium. There were many people, I'm not sure what time they were coming.

The Atmosphere in the stadium is OWW!! Just check the these pics. The ticket is not cheap for this match. Plus it is just a friendly match.Malaysia have one of best LFC supporters in the world.
Myself with the supporters during the Game(pic taken by LFC TV uk)

LFC said that they are coming back to Asia in 2013. I hope one of their destination will be KL. That is one of my wish for this 2012 year.
