A few days ago the rumor emerged that Rodgers wanted him at Swansea City. However, Rodgers signed with Liverpool to replace Kenny Dalglish. That changes dos Santos' possible destination. The reds are one of England’s top teams, but have not performed up to their tradition in recent years. Now they are looking for leadership and players to help them return to the top of the EPL.
Dos Santos won the 2005 U-17 World Cup in Peru while he was still in the FC Barcelona youth system. However, he had differences with the club and transferred to White Hart Lane in 2008. Since his arrival, he has not impressed Spurs boss Harry Redknapp who has kept him on the bench or off the squad.
