Despite significant styling enhancements and efficiency gains of up to 21 per cent, Euromobil will
maintain the old pricing.
Highlights include exterior and interior design revisions, equipment updates and an even more efficient petrol engines lineup.
Visually, the latest refinement of the A4 range begins with a reworked bumper with new look
angled air inlets and flat fog lights which leads into a revised single frame trapezoidal grille with
tapered upper edges and redesigned cross ribs.
Flanked by restyled headlights, the grille flows into a re-sculpted bonnet, fringed by updated LED daytime running lights that form a narrow, continuous strip/band. The tail lights reflect the shape of the headlights and the bumper with its diffuser insert has also been redesigned.
There is a selection of 15 paint finishes, including four new tones. Euromobil also offers the S line exterior package at an additional RM25,000 for a sportier identity.
The modifications in the new A4 have changed the dimensions only by a few millimetres. The A4 Sedan has a length of 4.70 metres with a wheelbase of 2.81 metres and width is 1.83 metres standing at 1.43 metres tall.
The interior of the A4 has also been refined. Audi offers a wide selection of new steering wheels with chrome and high-gloss inlays, with the leather sport steering wheel also featuring the optional flat-bottomed design.
The steering arm and the ignition key have been modified. High-gloss applications and the slender chrome trim at the controls add elegance to the interior.
The elaborate finish makes operation even simpler and more intuitive.
The optional MMI navigation plus system now features four instead of eight buttons, with a script function integrated in the volume control dial.
Other improvements concern operation of the automatic transmission, the efficient air conditioning systems, Audi drive select and the multifunction steering wheel.
The seat heating and air conditioning are now directly operated at the respective buttons.
The new A4’s engine fuel consumption levels have dropped by 11 percent on average, despite the increased power and torque.
All engines are turbocharged direct-injection systems with start-stop system and the recuperation system as standard.
A new highlight of the TFSI family is the new 1.8-litre engine. With power increased from the previous 160hp to 170hp, and an even more significant torque hike from 250Nm to 320Nm, it combines 4.74l/100km economy potential with CO2 output down from 169g/km to 134g/km – a 21 per cent improvement.
The new 1.8 TFSI engine features a number of innovations: in the control of its valves and their lift, in the thermal management system, in the fuel injection system, in the turbocharger and in the integration of the exhaust manifold in the cylinder head.
The engine weighs 3.5kg less and its internal friction has sharply decreased.
The popular 2.0-litre TFSI unit with 211hp completes the petrol line-up at Euromobil.
